 Service Learning Reflection

Overall, my service learning experience went pretty well. I enjoyed being able to contribute to real projects and seeing the impact of my work. One thing I would improve is my time management sometimes, I underestimated how long things would take, and that caused a little stress. The most impactful part was realizing how even small contributions can really help a bigger mission. A challenge I faced was balancing everything between school, work, and the service hours, but I found that communicating clearly and staying organized helped a lot. If I had to give advice to future SL students, I’d say start early, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and stay on top of your schedule. Also, try to really get involved and understand the organization you’re helping; it makes the experience way more meaningful.
