CST-300 #1 Weekly Journal

 Module 1 Intro

The first module which was the intro module basically went on to introduce what to expect in the online course. Furthermore, the steps to take when writing in APA format, the rules and what is considered plagiarism, and how to properly cite your sources. 

Module 1 Lecture

Learned about the history of CSUMB which used to actually be an army base in the 1900s. Also, gave a little more info on SCD the School of Computing & Design department. The module has a video to watch called, "Study Tips to Succeed as an Online Student" which is a very helpful and informative video to watch because it taught me to go over everything and be thorough with the work I'm doing.

Module 1 Lab

The lab module goes over the upcoming Industry Analysis Essay. As well as, the outline that is due in the upcoming days. It goes over a few strategies to keep in mind for the future of succeed in the class and how to prepare for assignments, projects, etc...

OLI Pretest/Module #1

I learned that it is very important to work as a team because you won't get anything done just arguing amongst one another. Another thing I learned from the Pretest/Module is that you should listen to each others ideas because no ones ideas are dumb it just takes time to come up with something you can all agree on once you write it down and discuss it more.
